This painting looked a lot to me like a dream I’m always having. In my dream, my spirit is from a place that has mountains made of rose quartz, and everyone is light, weightless. In my dream, my real form is more like starlight. There are nobodies, political parties, borders, or separate languages. There’s no ketchup or hairspray or coupon codes. Just bright silence. Can’t say I've ever spent much time in churches or religious organizations. But a cathedral seems like a place to be awake, listening once again for the dream of salvation.
