16x20 Framed. Chessington, United Kingdom
The vastness of your intensity is what defines you. You are brilliant in your details. Swift and determined. Beautiful but ever-changing. From the moment I met you, you felt like my sister.
“I love driving down this road, it reminds me of going to get sandwiches with Pixie in our wetsuits,” I say in the sun. The sky sparkles, the ocean competes with it. You are protective of my husband in the ways that I am protective of him. You know the funniest things about him but mostly how he feels, and how hard some times in his life were that he doesn’t often bring up. I love that about you. Your intensity. How much you love. How much you care. All of the things you know.
You cooked a four-course dinner for seven people while you were on holiday because you love doing that. When I watch you watch Lucas - the way you talk to him, the way you see him, the way you know him -you are every ocean, every sky to him. It is profound to witness.
I’m sure you don’t wear much glitter these days but I hope you catch your own opulence and radiance in this artwork. It is you. It is a reflection of you. That’s why the frame is so grounded and sharp.
We miss you intensely here in the States but are definitely hoping to go to Australia in a few years together. It is my privilege to wish you a happy 40th birthday, this incredible milestone, the best way I know-how. With glitter and texture and spirit. We love you so so so much. You deserve every happiness, every ocean, and every sky,
